Recalled Fitness Balls!

The ball I bought two years ago had a puncture in it...because of kids but it was one of these mentioned below. Can I still get a refund even though it is long gone and failed because the kids used it as a soccer ball?

I can see this totally happening to me with my new one. LOL!

EB Brands, of Yonkers, N.Y., is recalling about 3 million fitness balls that could result in injuries to the user.The recall includes Bally Total Fitness, Everlast, Valeo and Body Fit fitness balls. The company said an overinflated fitness ball can unexpectedly burst while in use, causing the user to fall to the floor.EB Brands has received 47 reports of fitness balls unexpectedly bursting, including reports of a fracture and multiple bruises.This recall involves rubber fitness balls sold in 55-, 65- and 75-cm diameter sizes. The fitness balls were sold with a pump and inflation instructions. The fitness balls were sold in various colors with the Bally Total Fitness, Everlast or Valeo logo printed on the ball.The balls were sold at department stores and fitness retailers nationwide from May 2000 to February 2009 for between $15 and $30.If you own one of the recalled balls, contact EB Brands at 800-624-5671 to receive a copy of the updated instructions on how to safely inflate the ball.
