I'm looking for any and all advise -
I've never run a 1/2 marathon let alone any running specific events, but as my profile states, I've done most other athletic feets except climb a mountain. Which I won't do, ever. Sprint tri's are fairly basic -- go hard and keep going until you cross that finish line. (Kind of like my skating races were.) So that I'm used to, it's the slowing down to run for 2 hours that I don't know how to do! And train for it.
What gets you motivated to run?
How do you plan for training?
How do you plan for a 1/2 marathon?
And does any one have to pee the first mile of running?? THAT bugs the piss out of me.. pun intended.
Now I'll get ready to run my 4 miles. It seems so insignificant. Should I go by time?
