Early morning run, check. Smog allert, check. Heat advisory, check (75 degrees at 630am). Asthma under control (finally), check.
I did it! 530am (not 4:00am) and ran at 6:30. I need an hour to wake up before I do anything. My run felt much better than the last two days and today is the hottest day on record for the lows. This is Seattle area after all and the likelihood that it will be this warm again is zilch. Enjoy while you can!
4.55 miles in 40 minutes. Not bad for a hot, humid and smoggy day. I FINALLY felt good on a run, however long or short.
