Ran 7.4 miles at a 9:30 pace. Took 2 miles for my "form" to get into shape... short steps. After that the run was fine but any faster and I think the ankle would be done for. No real hills on this route (small, short ones). I iced right away again and it felt okay. Still feel ache. Icing ankle now again. I'm hoping things are working itself out and I can still do shorter runs at a slower pace (but short strides? hard to do slow).
Still calling the orthopedic guy on Monday.
